Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

Due to the worsening Covid-19 (Coronavirus) situation and with the significant step changes in the advice and guidance from the Government and the NHS: It is with deep regret we have had to make the decision to postpone our 25th Anniversary of the World Music Workshop Festival (formerly Drum Camp) until next year.

The provisional dates set for next year will be 8th-11th July 2021.

If you have already purchased your ticket, you will receive an email from us giving you your refund or carry over options. Do get in touch with us if you have not received this email at tickets@wmwfestival.com

The decision to postpone the event was taken with an extremely heavy heart as you can all imagine, but the latest government advice and steps announced this week are unprecedented.

This slowing down tactic to reduce the pressure on the NHS and hospitals will delay the spread of this corona virus which may mean that we are still potentially in the grip of this pandemic by this summer. We cannot possibly be responsible for holding an event where there is still the risk for someone to pass this virus on others. Your health and well-being is of paramount importance to us in making this decision.

However, despite this uncertain and anxious future for everyone right now, summer 2021 will hopefully have seen this difficult period in our lives pass and we can all enjoy an anxiety free event in July 2021.
